As Remembrance Day draws near and we prepare to remember all who were killed, and are being killed, in wars, we ask ...
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO HONOUR THEIR MEMORY?
A Talk By Christine Titmus Monday October 3rd Corn Exchange, Dorchester 7.30 pm Free Entry
Veteran or peace activist, member of the armed forces or member of a church, we are all touched by those who have died in war. Do you have something to say, or ask, about the causes of wars? Do you think war can be prevented, and if so,
how? How we act today has consequences for tomorrow. How can we all contribute to a peaceful future? After the talk, Christine will lead a discussion into these issues. Come and take part.
Christine works to encourage dialogue amongst groups who traditionally have tended not to explore these issues together, and believes it is time for the traditional 'divide' between peace activists and the military to be bridged, as we
have much to learn from one another, and we all desire a more secure world for our grand-children - we are all striving for peace.
