What Do We Do?
At the start of the 20th century, 10% of those killed in war were civilians. Today, the reverse is true: 90% of those killed in war are civilians. As individuals or groups, there is a lot we can do to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war. We have all the potential tools, skills and laws needed to abolish war. We
- provide information and resources, including speakers e.g. the Remembrance Day Lecture at the Imperial War Museum
- provide school visits to link with the National Curriculum
- connect war to environmental and developmental issues
- raise public awareness through the media and the arts
Join us in helping to build:
- a culture that believes that war is not inevitable
- education that promotes alternatives to war
- awareness of the legal constraints on war
